  • Do you cover the mainland?

    Dixcey Landscapes cover the whole Isle of Wight, but not the mainland.

  • Is your nursery open to the public?

    Our in-house garden centre nursery is only open to our customers, however we do sometimes have a special weekend when we invite the public in - keep an eye on our Facebook page (it doesn't happen often!). 

  • Do you charge for a quote?

    Get in touch with us by calling 01983 864884 or send a message here and we will arrange a free site visit across the whole Isle of Wight. 

  • Do you offer regular garden maintenance?

    Regular garden maintenance is something we don't currently offer, however we can offer annual maintenance. Call our office on 01983 864884 or send us a message here.

  • How does payment work?

    BACs payments are preferred. 

    We do not accept card payments.

Here's some helpful tips to help improve your garden throughout the year.

March, April, May

  • Now is the time to plant your shrubs and trees
  • Repair or replace any fencing
  • Give your lawns a top-dress of feed
  • Prepare any areas for grass sees for your new lawn
  • Repair any Winter damage to your lawn
  • Re-point any patios/walls/loose slabs caused by Winter weather

June, July, August

  • Summer time is for planting bedding plants
  • Give your shrubs a good feed
  • Regular watering will extend the life of summer flowering shrubs
  • Regular lawn watering will ensure a lush grass lawn
  • Enjoy your garden!

September, October, November

  • Now’s the time to check any fencing and prepare your garden for the Winter months
  • Plant bulbs eg. Snowdrops, daffodils, bluebells etc. for a lovely Spring show of colour
  • Now’s the time to plan and install patio’s and decking ready to enjoy for next Spring & Summer

December, January, February

  • Now’s the time to prune your trees, roses and shrubs before the nesting season
  • Remove any deadwood and leaves from your borders in readiness for Spring planting
  • Mulch all borders with woodchip to surpress weeds
